About Me: Anastasia
I am 18 years old and completed my Year 12 schooling in 2024. I moved to the Geelong area in June of 2025 and have loved every second so far. It is quite a drastic change from the rural town of Echuca/Moama that only has a river for swimming, to now the beautiful beaches just minutes down the road. There is a wonderful sense of community in this area and I have made some friends that make my time here amazing. I am so eager and excited to meet new families in this area and create lasting relationships with kids I look after. I cherish those who used to look after me when I was younger and it is such a blessing to have the opportunity to be that same person for children I care for. Children have such beautiful imaginations and always see the world in a positive way which is what I attempt to treasure in my work! My Working History
I began babysitting at age 13 looking after some family friends children. From there I grew to love babysitting children and helping them learn new things and creating memories they will hopefully cherish. Whenever members of my large family visited I would consistently be with the younger children and ensure they were alright and having fun. I then began to babysit regularly for my neighbours. After realising I loved these times, I decided to advertise for babysitting and nannying around my town. From this advertisement, I began a regular nannying job for two young girls in 2024 (whom are mentioned on the reviews page). I learnt so many new skills from this job, and lessons I will remember forever. I continued nannying for this family for 8 months and they became like family to me. Being apart of the household and watching the children grow over time was such a privilege and became memories I will adore forever.
I always grew up with animals around our household and I grew very fond of many animals over time. They have such varying personalities which I find fascinating. My Mum really appreciates when someone pet sits whilst we are away so I knew I wanted to also provide this service to those who need it, to ease their minds just like my Mums mind is eased when someone is watching our beloved animals and home. I have loved meeting many new animals and caring for a variety of animals including cats, dogs and horses.
